Hi Friends, I am over at Dreambook Design today sharing the recipe for these delicious little handfuls of fall. Be sure to head over there to get the recipe and take a peek around. I am pinching myself that I am sharing a recipe on Adrianne’s beautiful space, I have been a forever reader of hers. Enjoy my loves!

The breakfast sandwich. During my third pregnancy I wanted to eat eggs and only eggs, specifically eggs in the form of a breakfast sandwich. I think it helped that at that time we had backyard chickens and were inundated with eggs. Backyard chickens are good for that, but bad for morning sickness (dirty little animals). But now, since I am not going to be experiencing that terrible pregnancy symptom anymore, I say bring to me all the chickens and all… Read more »

It’s almost October, that means it’s almost time for everything pumpkin. Am I right?! I have a confession. I don’t count down the days for the Pumpkin Spice Latte to come to Starbucks like most people. I love pumpkin. Pumpkin smells, pumpkin pie, pumpkin cookies (be gentle with that one it was one of my first recipes) pumpkin candles, pumpkin soap, you get it right!? But pumpkin spice lattes aren’t my jam. I do however love Starbucks pumpkin cream cheese… Read more »

My second born receives love through food. God blessed me big time with that one, because we all know I love to cook, and having a child who feels special when he gets a special treat, well, that just makes me feel all special as well. Lots of special going on here. Especially with these little sandwiches of deliciousness. I have spent a majority of my twenties pregnant, or nursing, and we all know how ravenous you can be when… Read more »

My biggest goal for this school year was to be more creative and intentional about packing lunches. I am proud to say that so far I have been pretty darn successful, granted we are only a month into it, but its the little things people. I have mentioned many times before about my second borns food allergies and the challenges we face with processed foods. One of the main things that I struggled with for awhile was condiments. Pretty much any and all… Read more »

Cooking for my family is one of my favorite things to do. But just because I love it doesn’t mean that I don’t get tired of doing it. Sometimes, well a lot of the time, once the weekend hits I am done cooking. Not only that, but usually by that time my refrigerator is looking a bit bare. I was standing and looking in the refrigerator trying to come up with a recipe for y’all when I saw the giant bag… Read more »

I wish with all of my heart that I could be solely a food blogger. I feel like its my niche, my safe and comfy spot. But my problem isn’t figuring out how to develop lots of different and original recipes, my problem is finding the time to set-up and take all the pictures. That’s the area of my struggle. But my passion is definitely in developing and photographing food, so that is why I will continue to post as… Read more »

There’s something about a cookbook that has a serious piece of my heart. The earmarked pages that are splattered with sauces and oils. The familiarity of the pages as you thumb through to your favorite recipe. Those are things that the digital world will never be able to replicate. So when I mentioned to my Dad that I wanted to make one of his favorite dishes and he pulled out an old weathered book, my excitement and anticipation of making the meal… Read more »

Today marks a very special day. My husbands birthday. As y’all are very much aware of by now, I love birthdays. My husband, not so much. He’s given up on the birthday celebrations for himself, but I haven’t stopped trying to convert him. So, before I continue on with this delicious recipe post, Happy Birthday my love, this year is going to be a good one, because you deserve it. Okay. Enough sap for you all. German chocolate cake is… Read more »

I have always tried to eat healthy. Sometimes I do better than others, and this past month or so has been one of those times. I think the key to eating well is being prepared. When I don’t have a plan of what I am going to eat for breakfast or lunch I’ll usually just grab what is easy and what will fill me up. But if I shop intentionally and map out meal ideas (I am not a good… Read more »
