The 52 Project: A portrait of my children, once a week, every week, in 2014.

week 5 patrick

Its been quite the week in our house. Lots of big and inconvenient challenges. One of those being my oldest getting the flu. He spent most of the first day in bed so uncomfortable and so sick. The next day he awoke from his fog and his fever had finally broke. He was still weak and sick and breaking his mamas heart but he wanted some company. The mask was our way of trying to keep the others from catching it while allowing us to be around him. He didn’t seem to mind much, I mean his grandmas spoiled him enough so I think he forgot about it(that’s what grandmas are for right?!)

week 5 Peyton

This sweet boy was off with his dad to the truck races this weekend. This is a picture from the summer, since I didn’t catch one this week. This about sums this boy up perfectly, off and on the go, imagination soaring and always without shoes.

week 5 Paisley

Oh my sweet wild one. She is always making her brother laugh. I imagine this must be the face I make as I oooh and aahh over my handsome littlest love because she mimics everything I do and say these days.

week 5 pryce

This sweet boy loves chewing on apples, and since he has very few foods we have introduced before the whole food challenge began, they are our go to these days.

That face your daughter is making is priceless!! Glad the rest of your house didn’t get the sickness… We just battled a week long stomach flu, but luckily it made it’s appearance before our littlest arrives. I don’t know what I would have done!
